Summer Cross

I have been running for 2 plus weeks with the team now. M, W, F, 3 to 3.5 miles. Today was the first day I went for an "off" day run. I only ran around the neighborhood, about 1.2ish miles. I probably only did this because I signed up for a 5k this weekend. It should be fun, and it's close, maybe I'll bike to it.
I also did my own version of core today, man did it hurt, it consists of 1 set of 10 reps for each of the following.
Crunches (both up and to each side): knees apart, knees together, feet up knees bent, feet up knees straight
Ins and Outs
Modified Bike
30 seconds for planks: side, front, side, back
I really should have also done
Crunches: up to the sky for each of the previous, knees to the side
But the planks nearly killed me, I can't even imagine what it would have been like to have to do more crunches prior to them. I'll have to work up to those.
